Praise and Reinforcements

Reinforcements must be used by the teacher to maintain discipline. Since teachers us reinforcements such as grades in teaching academic concepts, so too can they use reinforcements in teaching students to manage their behavior. These reinforcements can be positive as well as negative....When deciding on which reinforcement to use, teachers should always try the least restrictive option first and move to a higher level only after attempting to gain control at a low level. For example, before sending a student to the office, a teacher might find that discussing the problem with the student will bring about the desired result.....EFFECTIVE TEACHERS employ more positive reinforcements than negative ones.....maintain a fun and positive classroom atmosphere where good behavior is rewarded. Most important, good teachers do not fear positive and negative reinforcements; when implemented correctly, these techniques work well.

1. Once again I need to see an actualization (Update) of everyone’s gradebook.  Please send me a link to it or a photo of it or what have you.  I want to have a digital copy of your collection of grades for each class. ATTACHED IS AN EXAMPLE //   Una vez más, necesito ver una actualización (Actualización) del registro de notas de todos. Por favor envíeme un enlace o una foto de él o lo que tenga. 2. FURTHERMORE, we are going to start keeping our gradebooks on a shared drive.  But a drive that only you, the individual teacher, and I will have access to. So if you are already working on Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, you are already half way there.  FOR NOW, all I want is to know on what medium you DO keep your grades on.  // ADEMÁS, vamos a comenzar a mantener nuestros registro de notas en un drive compartido. Pero un drive que solo usted, el maestro individual, y yo tendré acceso. Entonces, si ya está trabajando en Google Sheets o Microsoft Excel, ya está a medio camino. 3. IMPORTANTISIMO:  Those who teach 11^th grade need to send all their final grades to Miss Noemy with a copy to me.  (In classes based on US curriculum, 11^th grade students will continue as normal, but with interruptions when practice for the bachi tests come up and when the actual bachillerato tests occur. Thank you.  /// IMPORTANTISIMO: Aquellos que enseñan 11º grado deben enviar todas sus calificaciones finales a la señorita Noemy con una copia para mí. Incluso si algo se explica en clase en inglés, cuando los estudiantes llegan a casa con el papeleo en mano, solo en español, o cuando una tarea o solicitud se transmite oralmente en español o INCLUSO EN INGLÉS, pero no hay nada escrito, el estudiante de idioma español no tiene forma de comunicarse con el padre (español de segundo idioma).
